What will it take to say "yes" to Appalachia's poorest families?

ASP FamilyEvery day, the applications for help pour in from Central Appalachia. And every day, we are forced to say "no" to nine out of ten legitimate requests. We have the desire. We have the calling. But we don't have enough volunteers, enough supplies, enough vehicles.

That's why we urgently need your help. ASP now has a five year plan designed to double our capacity -- and help us say "yes" to twice as many families. And we know exactly what it's going to take.

It's going to take doubling our volunteers by reaching new audiences. And by making it easier for volunteers to find us, talk to us, and sign up to help. And it will take increasing the number of our Summer Volunteer Centers from 25 to 40 over the next five years.

Doubling ASP's impact is ambitious, but it needs to happen because the need is far greater than the solution. It needs to happen because with outsourced jobs and the price of gas, Appalachia' economy is getting worse and worse. Most of all, it needs to happen because Jesus said that when we say "yes" to the "least of these," we are saying "yes" to Him. (Matthew 25:45).

Please consider giving generously to this five-year plan to double the impact of ASP.

Please consider saying "yes" to Appalachia's poorest families.
